Integrart workshop in Krakow

On Thursday, December 8, 2022, we organized the first Integrart project workshop. As a reminder, the aim of the IntegrART project that aims to integrate migrants and local communities through music and art. 

The meeting, organized by the Linking Foundation in Poland, was attended by immigrants from Iran, Armenia, Georgia and Ukraine, as well as Poles. The participants exchanged their experiences of integrating and longing for their homeland. They also discussed how such experiences express in music and culture. Mariusz Koluch – an artist, musician, and singer who creates music inspired by the Middle East and the Caucasus – also attended the meeting. 

The workshop was the first meeting of a series of IntegrART music and art workshops in Poland. The IntegrART project is also being implemented by the European Centre for Women and Technology in Norway and SMRT.bio in the Netherlands.
